Austria Hof Lodge

over its a good place in budget

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - a simple upgrade on the mattresses would make this place an excellent place to stay. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and made us feel like home, the restaurant/bar is great (hospitality and food were excellent), and the location is very convenient. Will come back to stay again, if the beds are upgraded (it felt like both my partner and I were in our own separate tacos in the same king bed). I write this review in hopes that the property considers upgrading the mattresses and to caution travelers whose trip will easily be derailed from neck/back issues from a night of poor sleep.

The breakfast is "grip and go" outside the office. FYI.. Guests have to take one flight of step to go to the registration office. There is no elevator to go to the third floor.

Really welcoming and friendly team - from Reception and the bar. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you
