Residence Inn by Marriott Charleston Mount Pleasant

This site is on the opposite side of Isle of Palms Connector but it takes only 5ish minutes to get to the beach. It's in a parking lot with lots of stores and restaurants that can be accessed on foot. Great location to any of the many things that can be done in the area. We use this as a home base when we visit Charleston area.

Hotel was mostly nice, our room seemed to have the smell of the local seafood restaurant for some reason. It seems to have permeated every possible square inch of the unit. Other than the odd smell, it was a nice stay.

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great. The housekeeping staff were very responsive and respectful. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The location to the beaches were fantastic after a morning in downtown Charleston we headed straight there for a swim and a long walk on the beach. The room was exceptional with a full kitchen, that was very helpful. The breakfast choices were amazing, and the staff were always refilling the items. I would stay there again and have told so many people about our stay
