El Sant Cugat

Loved it here! Perfect spot outside the tourist crowdsMy partner and I highly recommend this hotel! The room size was great and gave us plenty of space, plus we loved that the beverages and snacks in our room bar were actually reasonably priced.The location was awesome—it’s in a super chill, non-touristy area which we both loved. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the train station, so getting into downtown Barcelona was an absolute breeze.There are tons of great food spots around. You definitely have to try Dos Cucharas right by the El Sant Cugat Monastery—the food was amazing. We also loved hitting up Serrajordio, a great local bakery nearby. Their café con leche and their specialty chocolate croissants were so good! It was the perfect base for our trip, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent hotel.

Expected to be in Barcelona itself but Sant Cugat is a pretty town to the north and has great little shops and a lovely atmosphere. Once we got the T-mobilitat train/bus/tram pass €23 for 30 days it was a 20 minute ride to Catalina square in the heart of Barcelona. Much nicer than the bustle and fast food outlets we would have stayed in!

We stayed here for nine nights while helping our daughter settle into ESADE. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They were also incredibly helpful in storing all the luggage we brought from Japan. The free laundry service was a huge plus for our long stay! And the breakfast was amazing! 😋 Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and for making our stay so comfortable. We really appreciate everything!
