Responsiveness of super-friendly staff

We had a fabulous view if the Mediterranean Sea! Easy to get to downtown Sitges.

Let me first start with the staff, which is great, so nice and friendly! The room is nice, with a good bed, would say it’s more like 4 stars, but it’s omgood. The bathroon needs renovating. The sealants are yellow and on some places black and the water pressure is really low. I would make the fountain a little smaller, remove the foot shower and make a seperate bath and shower. The lunch options (near the pool but also in general) are far too limited and don’t live up to a 5 star hotel. For example no club sandwich or chicken burger. Please have a look at other restaurants there menu. The view is great, the pools are really nice and the beds near the pool also very good. One last point of critics. Paying for the spa (just the use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi) at a 5 star hotel is not okay.

The hotel is fabulous and check in staff incredible, the room is great with med view and pretty peaceful, there is a train track behind but when door to balcony closed you don't really hear much. We also had breakfast one morning as we only went for room only option, but the breakfast was really good with great options,The eating facility available during the day is highly overpriced, yesterday I got 2 small cappuccinos in paper cups 2 waters and 1 tiny pastry, that cost €25.00 which is disgraceful, I also got the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine delivered to my room in a ice bucket, I didn't have any that day but next day I wanted some but the ice had melted, I went to the bar to get a refill of ice and the bartender was so rude, not so much as a good evening, hello, ola I asked him for some ice and he looked at me as if I had 2 heads, I explained the reason for refill and he looked at the other bartender as if to get the go ahead, he reluctantly put some ice in it but the amount won't worry the titanic, I said is that OK that I wanted more ice, he didn't answer. A 5* hotel needs bartenders that greet their customers with a ola or good evening, it's the little things that play a big part, I have chosen to stay another 4 day's in eurostars sitges because i really really like it here& don't want to be negative about little things,I will keep you posted as to how the rest of my stay goes, ❤️ The cappuccino kid ☕️
