I liked the location of the hotel, and the outdoor pool area

The hotel's location is perfect, and the staff are very friendly and supportive. The housekeeping is excellent, and the rooms are always kept clean. The only downside is that the hotel could benefit from some refurbishment, particularly the walls and floors, which are starting to show their age.

The pool and the room were amazing, location near everywhere

The hotel overall is good but we had a bad experience. The air conditioning was working poorly in our assigned room and it was very hot. The temp came down 2 degrees in 5 hours. The front desk sent a maintenance person who agreed the AC was not working well but said he could not fix it until the next day. The front desk staff were in disagreement about giving us a new room with working AC. We were given a new room which was fine for two week stay. But not before one staff member tried to insist we stay in the first assigned room. So we had to see two staff members in conflict over our room. We are grateful to the staff who advocated and changed the room. There were other issues. Despite the website listing laundry, there was no laundry service available and no facilities. In general this is not a problem, it is low season, except for the rudeness of front desk on phone and in person. The breakfast staff were obliging, breakfast good, and the porters were helpful. The pool was lovely although the website misrepresents the size. Despite that the pool was enjoyable. I understand people have bad days but they also give bad days. This was not a success.
