Hotel de Moura

Firstly, the staff there was fantastic. We had had a problem with our rental car in Evora and ended up carless in Moura, but had reserved a night kayaking outing the evening of the day we got there. We told the staff at the hotel and they volunteered to arrange a taxi for us. Then we had said something about having to leave on the early bus the next day and they shifted the breakfast a half an hour earlier so that we could eat before we left. The staff was friendly, considerate and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, the AC worked great (important when its 43C outside), our room was very quiet and the beds comfortable. I'll go back there again if I get back to Moura, which I probably will with the nearby lake, stargazing and good food. A big thank you to the staff there!

Parking was easy and secure. Easy to locate. Centrally located. Patricia was awesome, she went above and beyond to make our stay a beautiful experience.

This was our second stay at Hotel de Moura. It is a throwback to a more elegant era. The floors, ceilings and walls exhibit craftmanship that would be difficult to reproduce today. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It has convenient parking and is an easy 6 minute walk from the historic center and castle. The only downside is the lack of an elevator. The receptionist offered to carry our bags to our room. We are seniors and carried our bags up as we were travelling light. We will definitely stay there again.
