Hotel was centrally located in downtown Funchal. A five minute walk to the city centre. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of hot and cold options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool deck on the rooftop was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. I would have preferred the pool bar to be open however it wasn’t and it was a very minor inconvenience to get the elevator down to the main bar on level 0. If you are using a rental car I would suggest you confirm a parking place with the hotel (20 euro per day) as parking is very limited in the area. I will definitely stay here again!!

Really nice hotel! Only things to improve would be to replace the pool towels and have hand soap in the toilets by the pool.
