Keeping in mind this is a hostel, not a B&B, this property is well maintained and well managed. Located near Braemar and all the area has to offer outdoor enthusiasts, the hostel offers a quiet and clean stay with use of the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and warm. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great hostel. Used as base for hiking the Cairngorms. Good location for this. Newly renovated so the common facilities were very good. Very nice and helpful staff. Ballater is a lovely village with both pubs and restaurants worth visiting.
