Best Budget Inn

It is a quaintly charming vintage motel. It is beautiful maintained.

The motel is an older Route 66 property. If you are a Route66 traveler, you will enjoy this motel. The owners, Kevin and Paula, are very friendly and helpful. The motel is clean and you park right in front of your room. We walked around Kel Lake and enjoy this area.

Kevin and Paula are the sweetest couple. Hotel is located across from Kellogg Park and it's so quiet there. Paula offered a free room upgrade since it was our anniversary weekend so we ended up with a king bed and the largest bathroom on the property! Breakfast provided is very basic: bagels, cereal, toast, donuts, coffee however on the first morning there was homemade banana bread. YUM!!! Paula was very knowledgeable about the area and provided many ideas of things to see and do. Room had a vintage vibe with an old-fashioned microwave and mini-fridge, bathroom had white and baby blue tiles, and room decor looked like it was from the 70s. Even the towels looked like they were straight out of the 70s....so fun!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Really cute, well maintained motel. Clean. Nice park across the street. Enjoyed our stay.
