On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked.
Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*

It was just a very old building. The staff were great and the bar and restaurant were also very clean. The bed was not very comfortable and the water did not get very hot in the shower. We did enjoy the stay for the week we were there.

The staff were extremely helpful and because I had to leave quite early on Sunday morning they made sure the chef was aware and I was served my breakfast straight away on entering the dinner room.
Also very good breakfast.
