Six on Union

Very nice place parking was hard but we didnt mind thou , owners wete very nice to us and the beds are very comfy will deffnetly stay again when were back in town

Place was conveniently located, close to centre town and cultural activities centres, close to buses. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Nice to have access to laundry facilities, $2NZ for each a washer and dryer. Room had a nice big kitchen with gaz burners. Liked that staff brought fresh towels, coffee, etc in the morning and left it on a chair outside our room. We noted that the room looked fatigued and needed a bit of refreshing. Carpet appeared dirty. The room would also need painting. Bedcovers/ bedspreads very used and blah.

Overall, it was a good experience, we are a family of five and a dog. Staff was friendly and polite. Kitchen was clean and specious. If I have to share some observations: fix the bathroom’s door lock, the toilet door needs to be clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Not a bad place to stay if you have busy days planned and use the motel to crash out. The mall is just across the road and Pak n save is close by too. A short drive to Eat street but you could walk this too. Maybe a 15 min walk or less. Room was clean and spacious ( 2 ppl). Parking is a bit of a squeeze but ok. Spa and pool where closed during our stay
