Beachcomber Motel Fort Bragg

The location was great. I think a little too expensive for $300 something a night. There is no A/C in the rooms, which is fine because if the screen is open it’s perfect, but the screens do not lock and we were downstairs right next to the bike path, so we were not going to leave it wide open. Free coffee in the morning and the fire pits were nice, but right next to some rooms in a weird location. All in all, great place and we would probably visit again in a few years, but I believe the price should be a little lower.

We bicycled along the COAST towards Fort Bragg. It was quiet & peaceful at night & the Ocean VIEWS from our deck were spectacular!!

Great location right on bluff above the beach & close to restaurants. Very clean with just one problem, a wonky bathroom window that wouldn’t shut completely or open much further. They allow dogs & have a nice dog park for dogs to run around/go potty. Our room on bottom floor had a slider that opened to the deck where everyone likes to sit around fire pits. It got a bit loud until they went to their rooms but then I heard someone next door snoring very loudly so walls are pretty thin. It was a bit warm in the room, even though it was in the 50’s & foggy outside. For obvious reasons. we didn’t feel comfortable leaving slider open all night but it would have helped cool the room down. I noticed the pilot light glowing in wall heater so that may have created a bit of unnecessary heat. The bed was comfortable enough though.

Clean and comfortable. Great place to stay if you want to walk directly to the beach, ride rental bikes along the coast, watch the sunsets from your balcony, and minutes from everything in Fort Bragg.
