Manhattan Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel located close to shopping centers and restaurants in Chisinau. Large shopping center, "Malldova" is a short walk. No issues with getting taxis, staff is friendly and helpful. Tour planning and booking is available. Not much for english language television channels. Rooms are large, clean, and efficient though not quite luxurious. A fun Americana theme in the hotel including a large poster of "The King", Mr. Elvis Presley. Morning breakfast buffet was outstanding. Some good local Moldovan wines in the restaurant/ bar. Hotel manager was extremely friendly, multumesc! Comfortable hotel for exploring Chisinau and as a base for day trips in Moldova. I recommend the hotel for the area as it a good value.

We arrived late by train and the staff kept the kitchen open late for us to provide us with dinner. The rooms were functional, comfortable and clean. There were a great selection of activities provided by travel company based at the hotel. We would definitely return.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful especially with the language problem. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was good, we eat all our meals there. The tour arrangements were fantastic, we took a day trip to Transnistria.

Good location and good people
