Urban Hotel Kyoto

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! One major perk for us (traveling by car) was the garage parking and the ability to park the car earlier than check in and keep it a little later after check out, that was so helpful to us! We also loved the included breakfast (something for everyone) and felt like we had what we needed in our room, though we did find the shared twin bed to be extra small for two people to share, even by the expected Japan standards. Overall, the convenience of the location (proximity to train stations/tranquil neighborhood/familymart within 2min walk/on-site parking) made this a win for us and a place we’d come back to again on a visit to Kyoto!

Breakfast was good

Room was spacious enough for two. Staff were very helpful. Train station is a 6 minute walk away. Air conditioning was a bit hot but we just opened a window instead. The buffet wasn’t worth it in my opinion but there’s a Family Mart, restaurants and various bakeries nearby.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and all that I needed for a one night stay. Would stay here again if in the area.
