Island Palms Motor Inn

Stopped for a couple of nights, self check in and out, I would stop again if in the area again

Good location close to shopping centre and tavern which has a great Chinese restaurant. Room was clean and bed comfy. Excellent for a one night journey stopover.

Lovely staff but the room, particularly the shower, was in dire need of replacement.

We had a lovely stay at Island Palms Motor Inn! Our room was spacious, modern and exceptionally clean. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies! The bathroom was large and spotless, with a massive shower that was an absolute bonus. We requested a quiet room and were given Room 21, tucked away in a lovely, peaceful corner with no one walking past. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway! Gayle was absolutely wonderful! So welcoming, friendly and genuinely sweet. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is convenient, with Woolworths and the Lakeside Tavern just a short walk away. It's a little further from the main town centre than I'd initially realised, but that's entirely down to my own research! 😂 Overall, a lovely, comfortable stay with wonderful hospitality. We'd happily stay again!
