A really lovely, beautifully presented small hotel. The perfect base for a visit to Newport.

Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful decor. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a last minute booking and we were welcomed with open arms by the staff. Lots of great advice about the surroundings… lovely breakfast. Large, comfy rooms, great shower, just all wonderful really.

It was an unexpected trip to the Isle of Wight as my dad had a cycling accident there. Everyone was amazing and so helpful which was especially appreciated in the circumstances. The room was super comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend
