Very pleasant stay at Tim’s quirky Old Lock Up Tim was very helpful with advice about local amenities and his breakfasts were excellent.

Fantastic, friendly hospitality, great, delicious food, and a livable, comfortable room. The historic items on display remind you of the building's former history.

Nice clean spacious room and en suite. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. Tim is an amazing host and you will be made very welcome. No lift so anyone with mobility issues may struggle on the right spiral staircase.
We loved our few days here.

Tim the owner was friendly and helpful. The room had just about every amenity required & was spacious and comfortable. The house was quirky and atmospheric. Breakfast was excellent. I know we are in the minority probably but we would have preferred ' ordinary ' bread rather than the posh stuff. If you have been to Wirksworth we would recommend it as a quirky, friendly town.
