Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong East

We always enjoy staying at the Marriott Pudong East. The check-in is always easy and efficient, and the staff are always courteous, polite and friendly. We appreciated the late checkout and being given a corner room, which has great views and is more spacious. Both the staff in the executive lounge and the 2nd-floor restaurant for breakfast are always friendly, courteous, and efficient. Thanks to all, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

The front desk staff were excellent. JoJo was very efficient, friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the later checkout. The staff in the executive lounge and dining room for breakfast were also excellent, always providing great service. All else was good, and we hope to see you again soon.

The breakfast menu was fresh and offered a variety which was good. The room was comfortable and everything worked. The front desk staff was welcoming by speaking English but you need a translator to communicate with restaurant staff.

Although facilities are little bit outdated, this hotel's biggest shining point is staff. I was warmly welcomed by front desk intern Winnie, who not only updated me to Executive floor room but also help me book the meeting room attached to the Executive Lounge. She even personally walked me to the meeting room and ensured with the staff at the lounge about my meeting room booking for the next day. Besides her, other staff members I've encountered were all very nice, warm and friendly. Breakfast is fair, some SH special foods were available.
