Hotel Anthracite

Centrally located. Numerous seating areas. Helpful staff.

I liked the convenient (and free) parking, the landscaping in the courtyard, the elevator, the clean room, good-working (and quiet) air-conditioner (& controlled by a thermostat on wall), a good bed with a variety of bed pillows, nice big tub-shower, with convenient pump bottles of shampoo, body wash, etc, and easy room check-out. :)

I did not like the fact that there was no local TV or cable. There were options to login to streaming TV if you had an account. (Paramount, YOUTUBE, Disney, HULU, etc) I also did not like getting hit with some local fees, taxes and local donations that were not already covered in my reservation with Expedia. These should have been mentioned up front. One is kind of in a bind in that town because this hotel is the only place to stay there. Limits your options to be a captive customer. Don't get me wrong.....It is a nice place but fixing these items could make it better.

Spacious room. Some stains on the carpets in the room and in hallways. Staff pleasant. Breakfast....horrible. Can't even cut the "French Toast." Sugar coated cereals. Almost all processed junk food. How about at least some bananas?!?!
