Comfortable beds

The Crown Mansion is very clean with crisp white linen and beautiful grounds. We had a lovely personal note welcoming us to the 'Rita Hayworth room' and a welcome treat basket! We very much enjoyed our special dinner in the Sapphire dining room. All the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Waiter, Dave and Darby were attentive and professional. Would love to come back amd can warmly recommend it.

We loved that it was a historical property, which was very well maintained. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable and the property was very quiet. We had the Rita Hayworth room which provided a lovely view of the ocean, though the room was situated in the middle of the mansion, which looked over the roof of the pillared entrance to the front door. It was the only possible drawback that we can think of to the room, and we did not really notice it too much because we were looking at the view and the golf course below us. On another visit, we would choose either of the rooms to the left or right. We had dinner in their dining room, which was lovely. Breakfast nor lunch are served at the hotel and dinner is not served Monday and Tuesday evenings, but they recommended two very good restaurants to us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went to them and thoroughly enjoyed them as well.

The hotel has such an interesting history. The room was comfortable and the location peaceful but still close to restaurants etc.
