The Crown And Cushion

This place has so much charm and character. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the river walk and the castle.

This was our fifth stay at the crown and cushion, It appealed to us because it is a very old pub with parking, staff are always very helpful and knowledgable, it’s a short walk into Windsor, with Windsor Castle to visit, also walks or boat trips along the Thames and walks in the Windsor great park. You can also drive or take public transport to Hampton Court Palace or drive to Hever Castle ( home of Ann Boleyn).

Wonderful quirky 500 year old pub at Eton, literally a stones throw from Windsor Castle and environs, so an easy walk to everything. Great to have parking and the breakfast included was lovely. Very friendly staff behind the bar. Special feeling staying in a historic pub with its own character. Don't worry about the planes going overhead as they have a curfew in the evenings!!

Nice old pub with rooms. Stairs are steep and may be tricky with a heavy case. Decent carpark behind the pub, Nice cooked breakfast. The pub was shut when we returned about 21:30 but you can use the cark park entrance with the key provided. Very handy for Windsor High Street and the boat to the race track.
