Hotel O Bupatara Chiangmai

For the price it was worth it

We LOVED the Bupatara! We came to Chiang Mai for our honeymoon. Our room had a beautiful view of the Old City, the pool down below, and an ancient temple. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, the room had neat woodwork/architectural details like a wooden sliding bathroom door and colorful glass to the shower. In the shower there was a large window with wooden shutters that added such a nice natural feel during shower time. The staff was so kind and helpful. We had our laundry done while we were out for the afternoon and it was taken great care of. The staff helped us book a last minute tour with Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary which took stress off of our shoulders. The pool was clean and relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. The neighborhood is very walkable and there is lots of food and coffee shops nearby. The Sunday Walking Street Market is nearby as well and the staff made sure to recommend it to us. Check it out! The largest street market we’ve ever seen. We’d absolutely stay again, and will recommend the Bupatara to any friends and family.

The staff welcomed us very kindly. The room was clean and tidy and very quiet (so we slept very well). There was a separate room with a toilet / shower and a room with a wash basin. Our fare included breakfast which was simple but good. The room had AC and a TV (with Deutsche Welle). Our room was cleaned every day. The guesthouse has a little pool which was refreshing after a busy day in town. Hotel staff gave us good advice on what to do on each day and helped us with tour bookings. For the price we paid, we got a good value for.
