The Spot

It's what you'd expect from a motel that has been converted to a "boutique hotel". Relatively clean and modern. Nice bathroom, good location, friendly staff, and a good price. But... check in is a pain and didn't work for us. There aren't enough power outlets for the electrics in the room, let alone to charge a phone or anything else. Lamp USB didn't work. Lamp wasn't plugged in and we had to get the manager come and move a wall panel just to access an outlet for it. Coffee was the cheapest you can buy and horrible. Bathroom had no counter space or shelves for toiletries. You can hear every little noise in the hallway, and it is a very noisey hallway. The AC works, but it lacks any instructions. There is a counter with stools under the TV, but plan to go to a coffee shop if you need a desk or table. For the price, I'd come back, I would just plan differently.

Place is good. Only issue was the room wasn’t ready even after we got there after 6 pm.

It was a nice 2-night stay at The Spot. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC, heater, and microwave all worked well. I especially liked that the bathroom featured both a rain shower and a handheld shower spray. Note for visitors: 1 King Bed Suites are located on the ground level, while 2 Queen Rooms are on the second floor.
