Stationen Bed & Breakfast

Lovely characterful hotel. Convenient for train and short walk into the beautiful town. Weird lift but it worked fine! Great breakfast. Only downside was some noise from port during day, but not an issue for me as I was out and about. Would definitely stay again in this characterful and atmospheric hotel, but just one night next time.

As a Wallander fan I loved the opportunity to stay here - and I wasn't disappointed. A lovely characterful building with a very decent continental breakfast; and a funky lift!

No tv or wash basin in my room ,but personal wc and shower just down the corrider. Excellent central location ,adjacent to Ystad railway station ,bus station ,and ferry terminal .The staff were lovely and helpful ,with an excellent spread at breakfast. The B&B is a must for all Wallander fans as it was the police station in the second series starring Krister Henriksson , both outside and inside.I stayed in Room 11 ,the office next to Wallander's (Room 13) ! All-in-all good value for money.

Stationen B&B is located between the Railway & Port this impressive, historic building was formerly Ystad Central Station. It is now an established B&B. It offers a central location, walkable to all the local points of interest. Stationen is owned & operated by 4 sisters and provides a comfortable place to rest up & start each day with a sumptuous smorgasbord breakfast. The extra care and attention of a family run business was evident leading into and during our stay! Mathilda and Filippa were extremely helpful and responsive with answering queries before we checked in. You can take advantage of the impressive share lounge and attic kitchen space. There is a bar and restaurant attached to the building, very convenient. For TV Crime buffs - the building featured in Wallander as Ystad Police station for several seasons. Worth noting you have 2 choices for parking either the convenience of right next door for SEK110 p/day or a short 200m walk for only SEK45 p/day.
