Avondale by the Sea Motel

It is a bare bones resort, lacking in amenities. The rooms are dated, no pool, continental breakfast, and no elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floor. Having said that, the staff was friendly and helpful. The place looked freshly painted. Everything was clean. It was also in a desireable location, and reasonably priced. It is across the street from the pristine ocean, and tourist attractions as well as a walk away into the town and the surrounding neighborhood. Cape May is charming, but expensive. We were able to enjoy the charm without spending an exhorbitant amount of money. I would consider going back there in the future.

Loved everything especially proximity to beach

We were first time guests. We enjoyed the staff, the second floor ocean views. It was an excellent location as we walked to nearly everything! Many other guests we met were repeat guests ! Room and property was very clean. We had a very good experience!

What a wonderful stay. The staff is very helpful and the view from the balcony ocean view is fabulous. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Perfect location
