Setting was pleasant. Some confusion at check-in as I was registered for Whispering Winds and thought I was at Skaneateles Inn.
The office at WW was never open.
The lock on my door did not seem very secure. There was a chain on the wall, but no place on the door to attach it.

For the money this property was a good deal. All the hotels around were crazy expensive I’m not sure if it was due to Mother’s Day weekend or the food truck festival nearby but everything was crazy. I’m not one to normally choose motels but this one was pretty good I thought. Not bad for a place to crash after our event. It was a nice touch they had free water, pop, and snacks in the room. Nice tv.

The staff wasn’t there at check in. Room was unlocked with key in it. The floors were dirty and dusty. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. Also heard people in the room next to us talking/arguing.
