This is the most beautiful place!
It requires a long mountain drive to reach which is very beautiful. You can take the ski lift (nearby by car) to the top of Monte Baldo then hike 30 minutes (easy) to the cable car which will take you directly to Mescicine in Lake Garda. Unbelievably beautiful.
The Refugio Monte Baldo is run by Marco and family. Make sure you book it with breakfast and dinner. I had some of the best meals of my life there there’s a bottle of red wine on every table at dinner at no charge.
I will be going back. It’s amazing for its mountain location and the cable car to one of the most beautiful alpine lakes, shopping, restaurants and swimming. Can’t say how wonderful this place is!!!
