Hotel Mila Noa

As this was our first visit to Myanmar, the hotel was recommended to us as good value for money. We did our own research and found during our stay that it was exactly as advertised. The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. We also met people staying there from all over the world. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a window on the top floor which looked out over a wide panorama. The rooftop restaurant had good views of parks and the Pagoda and the breakfast was ok, especially the pancakes on the weekend. Overall, you need to go with the right mindset about what your expectations are. This hotel is a little gem nestled within the reality of how many of the local people have to live in this area. The city's many sights, sounds and smells are all part of the life-changing experience.

Mila Noe was great. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice, but didn't speak much English. The room was spotless and the air con worked well. The bed was nice and linens were clean. Breakfast was good and served on the rooftop. Loved the neighborhood!! This hotel sits in the middle of a locals neighborhood, so it offers more of the local vibe.
