Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Rooms are old and could use a little touchup, but pleasant.

I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices
