Our overall experience was a 10/10!! The staff was incredible. They were welcoming, helpful, and extremely hospitable. The food was delicious. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The open air dining was romantic and quiet.

The gym is one of the best ones that I have had the pleasure of working out in. Most hotels have a cardio section and dumbells. Samata has that, PLUS a squat rack, a smith machine, leg press machine, cable machines, and... a boxing/kickboxing area!!! Awesome!
We chose to have a spa day that included a 60 minute massage and a coffee body scrub. This was MY first experience doing anything like this, and I have to tell you that they set the bar super high! It such a relaxing experience and the coffee scrub left our skin feeling so smooth.
My wife and I are already planning to come back to Bali with our kids and when we do, we will definitely be booking our stay here again.

Beautiful villas, friendly and helpful staff - vey accommodating.
Breakfast was good and they even prepared a to go box for us the day we checked out early in the morning to catch our flight.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it has been luxurious treatment. I've been notified before our arrival of the arrangement and despite booking it wrong on the website to have 2 single beds instead of a king bed, they managed to accommodate it to our preferences last minute. The whole staff has been so friendly and very attentive to our needs throughout the trip, from messaging us the night prior to get our breakfast order to noticing our discomfort following a rough trip to Nusa Penida, they've even went above and beyond into providing us teas to calm our nerves which weren't on the menu or expected.
All in all, I would definitely recommend staying at the Samata, it made our Bali stay unforgettable.

If looking for a nice and quiet place - With the nicest staff, this is where to go.
The villas are big - with large bedrooms and large outdoor spaces.
Every villa with private pool - but also 3 large common pools.
Excellent breakfast …just choose from the ala carte.
But …..most importantly…a huge shoutout for the staff. So nice and helpful
