Meriton Suites Mascot Central

Very good

Close to the airport and downtown

Great location in the Mascot pedestrian shopping precinct. Everything at your doorstep if you plan to cook etc., in the suite. Kitchen is well equipped and all essentials well laid out. Lots of room in the one bedrooms suite (although the one I had this time had everything included like the last stay but was smaller but more then adequate as I used it as an overnight hotel as it's close to the airport). Two words of advise. 1) If you can, choose an Uber to get there from SYD. I got into a cab and got grief from the cabbie as he was upset that the fare was so close to the hotel (he had to line up in order to get a stop to pick up passengers at the terminal). Or make sure to tell the cab driver before he loads your luggage where you are going. 2) Make sure you give the driver the correct address as there are 2 Meriton hotels in the same area.

Great location with easy walking distance to the train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The room we had was spacious with a great balcony
