Ala Kai Motel

Had a great stay there. Short walk to the beach and the pool is clean. Thursday night was customer appreciation night with and we had a great time. First time there, and we will be back.

Very nice place and reasonably well maintained. Room was very clean. Some of the bathroom fixtures are rather dated. Great access to the beach. There is no boardwalk, or any walk that runs down the length of the beach in this area. There are plenty of places to walk on the streets, though. The hotel has 2 properties on either side of the street, and are both run by the same office. Parking spots are tight.

Our room had a kitchen with stove, microwave and full size fridge. That came in handy. No heat, so at the end of the season we were lucky it wasn't very cold.

We booked this hotel because we decided last minute to go to the shore and everything else was booked solid from Stone Harbor to Cape May. We were pleasantly surprised with Ala Kai! The office staff were so kind and so friendly. And for the end of the season, we were stunned by how clean everything was in our room and around the grounds. It was very impressive! The location was convenient and very quiet. It was a nice stay!
