Mount Pleasant Hotel

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great food, beautiful setting

A very pleasant stay at a wonderful hotel, staff very attentive and breakfast and dinner were great. This hotel is in walking distance of promenade and town .

Traditional British hotel but to a high standard. Only issue given the extreme temperatures when we were there was a lack of A/c but this was known in advance and good fans were provided in the rooms. TBH its not reasonable to expect A/c in this type of hotel and everything else about the place was first class.

The hotel's location meant it was just a short walk from the town and beachfront. The hotel itself was spotless with all the amenities you would expect. The beds were comfortable and because the hotel is set back from the road it is extremely quiet. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. There is a great choice for breakfast and the food is cooked to order meaning that the food is fresh and hot. Would highly recommend this hotel.
