PungGyeong, Korea Traditional House

This was an excellent experience, cute house that we really enjoyed. The owners were amazing, very sweet and attentive over our three nights here. This is not a hotel stay, so don’t expect that. However they took amazing care of us, restocked some kitchen basics daily, etc. The only item we did have is that the bed, especially the floor mats in the larger room were uncomfortable. It’s just a thin mat on the floor, which was OK but if you need a mattress and struggle on the floor be aware.

Nice and clean

We absolutely loved the stay at this traditional property. We rented the whole house which came with three rooms plus a kitchen and central courtyard. Mr. Steve was very helpful throughout. His wife cleaned the apartment everyday and stocked the kitchen with breakfast items - bread, eggs, milk, bananas, apples, noodles, and yogurt. The house is close to many good eating places too. Even though we visited during the winter, the house was warm. Highly recommend!

We are very happy to stay in this traditional Korean guest house. It's located on a quiet street but also very close to shopping and dining area. Just within 10min walk to Metro. The host, Steve and his wife are very nice and helpful. There are two aspects to be improved, one of the rooms has no air conditioner and there's only one bathroom in the guest house . As a whole, it's a good experience to spend a night here.
