We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room
(I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. They wouldn't have put us in there had I not demanded it though. Overall the place is really nice but what happened the first day felt like some sort of scam. Great breakfast also- fresh fruits, egg and toast with jam and coffee or tea.

The Green Villa was a welcome surprise. The place exceeded our expectations. We got a room in the new building and it was great. The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location in Unawatuna because it was just far enough away from the beach that we felt secluded but close enough to enjoy all the restaurants, shops, and beach atmosphere. Thanks so much for helping make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable!
