Fosshotel Hellnar

We had such a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the rain shower amazing, the food (both dinner and breaks fast) was excellent, and maybe best of all, the black out shade was so top notch that we woke up and didn’t know what day it was. I have only wonderful things to say and would absolutely come stay again!

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Very good dinner and breakfast. A pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere.

This was one of our favorite places to stay during our 14 day tour of Iceland. The views out over the ocean from the patio and the restaurant are wonderful, and the coastal trail to view the birds and their chicks was a gem. There is a natural arch five minutes down the path with intriguing geology, and the views inland are awesome as well. We wish we stayed here longer as there some great things to do and see along the peninsula. The staff are very friendly and we would stay here again for sure!

Clean and new hotel. The restaurant was a bit expensive but what else to expect in the middle of nowhere. The food was excellent, though!
