Strandhotellet - Blokhus

We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️

Beautifully designed rooms, great Scandinavian decor, and great super comfortable beds & linens. I’ll be back ;)

Cozy hotel right next to the beach with shabby chic interior. Laid-back lounge and rooms (some with private balcony) with clean-style modern bathroom. A few inconveniences: (1) Most of bathroom floor gets wet when showering, because the shower doors don't close entirely (2) The breakfast is modest, and the coffee isn't too tasty

Perfect location and very nice and fresh hotel. Friendly staf and goid breakfast.
