Compact but brilliantly designed — an unforgettable stay in Matera! La Residenza del Monaco Bianco exceeded all expectations. The room is compact yet incredibly well-designed, with thoughtful details and excellent functionality throughout. One of the most stylish stays of our entire trip. The check-in process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to clear and well-organized instructions provided in advance. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Sassi and major sights. Parking nearby is also easily accessible. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Matera. We will definitely be back!

Amazing apartment very up to date. Very clean. Spacious& modern. Comfortable bed

The best B&B that we have experienced. The room has an indoor sauna, rain showers, wine cooler, small kitchenette and ample of space. Host is very helpful on local food. Not far from the city center.

Beautiful suite, had everything we needed. Communication from Alessandro was excellent, helping us arrange parking (which was very reasonably priced in a secure lot a short walk from the property) and even letting us check in early as our room was ready. Couldn't have asked for a better location, on the edge of the Sassi with plenty nearby. Breakfast was in a cafe next door, more than adequate and perfectly fresh. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, I wish we had longer.
