Le Cabanon Motel

My daughter and I stayed a Friday night thru Sunday morning, in the "Deluxe Studio, 1 King Bed, Kitchen, Ground Floor." There's an annual beach soccer tournament on Pompano Beach she plays in so this was PERFECT. We live local and have driven to and from tournament in the past but as we've learned, when you're out in the sun all day playing sand soccer, time and convenience is priceless. This time, she got more sleep and I had somewhere to go when it was too hot or there was a line for the restrooms. The room had a comfortable King bed, a decent sized bathroom with a shower as well as good sized sink. There's nothing worse than a bathroom sink that's tiny. The kitchen is cute with a little stove and mid-sized refrigerator. They have pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, measuring cups, paper towels, paper plates, cups/glasses. No bakeware so bring your own if you plan to bake. I love how simple the set up of the place was and very clean. It felt like a home, providing us space to live as we do (versus a hotel that services you with extra amenities). The pool is clean and quiet (it's off season currently). No view from room, but who needs it when you walk out the door, turn the corner and the beach is right there! This place also has Miya, who was absolutely wonderful. She meets you when you arrive, checks you in and is on property if you need anything; she's right there, like a neighbor! I loved it here and I will be back! Thank you!

A nice little motel. Location was perfect. The staff was so nice and always checked with us to see if we needed anything. We had such a great, relaxing vacation. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent place for adults weekend getaway. Great room with full kitchen, gas grill outside. All clean, love the pool, and no kids.

We live about 20 minutes from the motel. The past 10 months have been me dealing with biopsies, breast cancer, radiation. We desperately needed a vacation. My husband and I stayed for 4 days 3 nights over fourth of july weekend. We had the best view of beach and best view of the fireworks off the pier. The staff was very welcoming and attentive and kept everything perfect. This motel has been there since 1954. Only 9 units. Awesome pool. I kind of hope it never changes. We will definitely be back.
