Great location, great staff

My hotel was cleaned regularly by housekeeping. The staff's English was limited, but you could tell they tried their best to help me with any questions. The hotel was central to attractions and it was an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. I appreciated my stay here for the very affordable price. Inside the hotel, you are safe.
One note for solo female travelers: this is not the hotel for you. During the day things were fine, but starting around 7pm, it was not safe to walk alone. There are far too many foreigners who are specifically there for sex tourism and exploiting the poor local women. Regardless of your appearance, the tourists will harass you too. This is not the hotel's fault in any way, but something to be aware of regarding the area.
