Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Austin Buda

Property was clean and staff friendly. The hot tub was very hot which made the pool very warm for summer.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Great perfect for a quick grab-and-go.

The 'accessible' shower was not quite what we expected. Photos on the hotel website showed one with glass doors and a minimal (perhaps a few inches) step up into the shower area. Instead, our accessible room had a standard bath tub with a plastic shower seat attached to the wall. The seat flipped down and clicked into a connection on the other side of the tub. There was a handheld/detachable shower head mounted on the wall, along with pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus grab bars. All of that combined probably meets the technical definition for an accessible shower. But it wasn't as easy and comfortable as we thought we were getting. Check in was fast and easy. We like Joey who checked us in and Markus who checked us out. Breakfast was good but we wished the waffle irons were working. Even on the weekends, they were not available.

This location is our favorite place to stay when we are in the south Austin area. Far enough away from the Interstate to be quiet yet easy on-off access. HEB and Walmart within a block or two. Staff always friendly and helpful.
