Tomoya Residence Hotel Kyoto Nijo Takakura

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The room was perfect for our family of 5. The staff were so wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed! It is a beautiful property with a traditional, Japanese style. We loved the suite with a separate bedroom and living room with a fridge! Our family paid the extra charge per day for the delicious breakfast served in our room. The hotel staff were so accommodating and professional! They answered questions about the area and helped us find a wonderful shopping and Japanese shrine area in Kyoto so we could purchase traditional Japanese tea sets and souvenirs. I can’t say enough about how friendly the hotel staff were to our family and grandbaby. Also, this is a great location with many good restaurants within walking distance. Also, we had a large rental van and there is a parking pay lot within walking distance to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Kyoto in the future!

Superb location, amazing hotel

Beautiful family stay, with everything we needed, including a washing machine and a separate room for our daughter. The hotel is very well-appointed and in a quiet neighbourhood but still close to key subway lines to make exploring Kyoto easy.
