Geert and Hans were excellent hosts and took very good care of us. We really enjoyed their company and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is excellent with excellent presentation. The rooms were beautiful and very well decorated. A lot of time and thought put into the rooms. You will not be disappointed and we miss De Brakelhoen already!

Love this place. The house is beautiful, timeless, elegantly and sophisticated, yet still very warm and homely; I could have happy stayed for much longer!! The hosts Hans and Geert are friendly, attentive, but not over bearing. The room I stayed in was immaculate, the bed was super comfy (I have great night sleep), and the bathroom was well appointed with a large walk in Rain shower, twin sinks and so on. I was expecting a fairly "normal" breakfast, but Hans and Geert go the extra mile and breakfast was truly a wonderful surprise, and very much appreciated; made me smile. Hans and Geert have great taste. which really show, and their attention to detail makes all the difference. Lovely people, beautiful home, and I would recommend staying here without a hesitation.
