The Breakers was a fantastic place to stay and offered plenty of activities for the whole family. There were volleyball and basketball courts, playgrounds, swimming pools, and lots of space for everyone to enjoy. One feature I especially appreciated was the adults-only hot tub and the adults-only swim hour in the evening. It was a great opportunity to relax and unwind after a busy day. They also had BBQ grills and fish-cleaning stations, which were perfect for preparing fresh seafood catches. Our one-bedroom unit was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes, cookware, and utensils we needed. As expected, we brought our own seasonings, which is pretty standard. The beach was only about a five-minute walk away, and from the upper floors you can even catch a nice view of the ocean in the distance. The only downside was the pull-out sofa beds. They were extremely uncomfortable, with mattresses so thin that you could feel the support bar underneath, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bed in the bedroom was firmer than I prefer, but it was still much better than the pull-out bed. My friends barely slept because the sofa beds were so uncomfortable. Aside from that, everything else about our stay was excellent, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff was so accommodating in moving our room to a room adjoining and connecting with my parents room, as we had made separate reservations and it was nice to be able to share a living room when we got there the next day. The rooms were on a top floor so that we had nice views of the ocean from our balconies. The sound of the surf is awesome. The location is right on the dunes leading to the beach and the start of the paved Discovery Trail…the front desk had bikes available for its guests to use for just $5 an hour and we enjoyed traveling down the trail and checking out the statues. Very dog friendly and kite friendly as well! Perfect place for kite-flying! And best bakery down the road at Dylan’s Cottage Bakery…a must.
