Sheik Istana Hotel Chiangmai

I loved the hotel property. Very spacious room; lovely grounds bordering the Ping River. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The only drawback (no fault to the hotel itself) is that there is not much to see within walking distance. One can always rent a car or hire a taxi or whatever.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to request a grab to markets, restaurants, and shopping.

I had a fantastic stay at Sheik Istana Hotel and can’t say enough good things! The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport, and the amenities were amazing. Rooms were clean, air conditioning was excellent and beds were very comfortable. But more than anything, the customer service and amazing kindness of the staff was unparalleled. Despite check in hours ending at 10 PM, when I messaged asking what I should do if my 9 PM flight was delayed, the staff generously said that they would wait for me. Even after checking out of the hotel, they offered any help/ support I needed. Will definitely be staying here again if I am back in Chiang Mai!

The hotel was super cute and had a lot of character. The staff was beyond friendly and check-in was super easy. It is just an older hotel. And I needed somewhere a little more modern and with a few more upgrades to accommodate my needs.
