Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

Large hotel next to the airport (you can walk with the luggage to/from terminal, car rental, and transit. Looks like new. Large rooms. Very generous breakfast buffet included. Nice staff. Due to the easy connections to downtown (tram running every 7-10 minutes until late, and Air Link bus running all day) you could stay here for the duration of your visit to Edinburgh. If you plan to drive around the country, it's convenient to rent the car from the airport and skip the city traffic.

The breakfast options were very good. The staff were very pleasant.

This property was very good. We really enjoyed it. Easy to get to from the airport on foot or short cab and very easy to take a bus to the heart is where you want to go! Driving Dt is insane!!! The only negative and I did mention it at breakfast this morning at checkout is that all the staff we encountered were smile, friendly and helpful ….with the exception of a young women in the breakfast area clearing tables at 8am. Head down, looking miserable and operating at a snails pace who was not a good representative to your brand or how we wanted our last impression. I heard several people comment amongst themselves too.
