B&B Oriental Palace

We appreciate meeting our B & B host, Lucilla, and having her walk us through the 2 front doors, elevator, B & B, and room key procedure. She was also very kind and helpful in making recommendations and gave us her phone number in the event of any problems. While in a charming historic building, the bathroom was modern, bed comfortable, and room spacious. We also liked having tea, coffee, water and some snacks available in the breakfast room at all times. Finally, the location was perfect for bus transportation: shuttle to the airport is about a 4 min walk, bus from Palermo and tour bus pick/up drop off was in front of the B & B.

We stayed at B&B Oriental Palace for one night. It was only a 10 minute walk to the historic center of Catania which was very convenient for our short stay. Our room was clean, and we were able to check in early which we greatly appreciated. We weren't able to have the breakfast as we had to leave early for a flight but there was coffee/tea and small bites available throughout the day. The B&B is tucked away deep inside an older historic building, and you needed 5 keys to get through the building, up the elevator and to the B&B! It was definitely a unique experience finding and accessing it, but it didn't impact our stay in any way. Very reasonably priced with a friendly manager, so would recommend B&B Oriental Palace to others looking for a smaller bed and breakfast experience versus a hotel.

Really nice experience staying at the b&b oriental palace. The room was spacious and a nice view of etna from the balcony.
