Hampton Inn Black Mountain

This is a perfect stay for just a few nights. Simple breakfast with options, and necessities for purchase if you forget something. Staff was average, and rooms are quite small, with no water pressure. Our room was noticeably damp, and smelled like a wet dog. We would stay again if their one suite was available, and we would limit the stay to 2 nights.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was quite nice with plenty of choices. The only things I would have liked to have were some water with ice, and a large bowl of mixed fruit rather than whole apples, bananas, oranges, etc. Except for bananas, whole fruit is awkward to eat. There were juice and milk but no ice water. Even so, we had an enjoyable stay. Whenever possible I like to stay at a Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was updated and clean. Beds were comfortable. We arrived late and the young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful.

Great experience. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed. We used the gym and took advantage of the breakfast. We loved that there was plenty of parking. The proximity to the town was perfect so we were able to walk to many places
