The location of this apartment is wonderful. Walking past the colosseum every day was magical. The apartment is well equipped and in a lovely historic building. Checking in was difficult and a rough start to our trip, however. They don't provide check in instructions until the the exact time the day of, so make sure you have phone signal or you're going to have a bad time. Luckily the wonderful attendant at the Left Luggage Room around the corner helped us out by letting us use their wifi and called the rental company for us. Add other reviews said, the shower is small but manageable. The bed is so firm that it may be considered a war crime under the Geneva Convention. If my mom made me sleep on this mattress I wouldn't go to her funeral.

Very good overall

This place was an easy 5 minute walk to the Colosseum with lots of places to eat, Farmacia stores at the corner. The unit was beautiful, rustic, grand and spacious in the main room. Bathroom and shower was a bit narrow and tight, but having a small laundry washing machine can be convenient. Not sure if this occurs every early morning, or just the morning we happened to stay, but garbage trucks picking up the glass bottle dump was very noisy even with the window shutters and curtains closed. Despite this, the bed was very comfy :) I suggest bringing in earplugs. Other than that, we loved the room. We booked this room last minute and the check-in and check-out process with the main host was extremely easy.

Was very clean, near to everything
