We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The quality of accommodation was like a 5 star hotel and the staff were kind , very helpful and exemplified the spirit of the hotel name. Staying at this hotel was revitalizing and the natural beauty around the property with a most beautiful zen garden was very calming.
This hotel also offers a hearty Japanese style breakfast as well as a western option.
Highly recommended.

To start the staff is absolutely kind and hospitable. They really make you feel at home even if you’re 1000s of miles from it. Second, the actual hotel and scenery is out of a dream. An actual fairy tale! It made me fall in love with Japan even more. Third, everything was super clean and neat. And lastly, the complimentary items were just unbelievable! I will recommend anyone and everyone to this beautiful place. I will forever be grateful for everyone there!

Absolutely adored my stay here only wish it was longer. Nicely remote because I find the tourists in Kyoto quite overwhelming and the sauna was lovely. Breakfast was also amazing and they accommodated my allergies without stress.
